My friend Joan had a cold. She told me that she had pain in her throat the last night. I told her that to gargle limon juice and honey was a good remedy.

I called my sister in law to tell her that I was cooking shrimp soup and that it was too much for my husband and me. I offered to bring the soup to her house for dinner.

I had a little conversation with my brother in law´s friend about my country. I told him that in Honduras we don't pay taxes when we buy vegetables, fruit and meat in the supermaket or in the minimarket. Only when we buy electronics or furniture we pay taxes.

We went to the crafts fair in Audobon Park. My sister in law was also at the fair. I asked her what she had bought. She bought a knife to cut bread and soap that helps to repel mosquitos.

Last year my neighbor invited me to be part of a group of women that meets once a month to eat lunch together and have conversation. In the group all women are from different countries. This day my neighbor told me that this weekend was the day of the lunch. I told her thank you for the invitation but this weekend I couldn't.

I said to my sisters in law that we went to Lowe's and that I had picked up paint chips and that I needed their help to choose the color to paint the small bedroom.

We went to Oak Court Mall because I needed new clothes to go a wedding last weekend. We went to Dillard's and I asked an employee where the petites department was.

My husband and I went to his boss daughter's weeding. I had a conversation with a old man from Maryland. He asked me about Honduras, what cities I had visited in USA, if I liked living in Memphis.
