On tuesday, I called the venezuelan consulate in New Orleans, because I need to send a document to my contry,the person at the embassy told me that I need to apostille the document,
that what I asked a nort american friend about that word if he know what its mean, and my friend told me that he don't know about that word but he looked in the diccionary and it's like a international certification.

An apostille is another level of authentication that is issued to documents going out of the country. If the destination country is a member of the 1961 Hague Convention then an apostille is issued by the originating state.
